The Archaeological Museum of Polygyros and its Educational role

Our Ephorate, in cooperation with the Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Chalkidiki, undertook the planning and organization of an Information Conference entitled “The Archaeological Museum of Polygyros and its Educational Role” as part of the communication policy and information measures for the educational community of Chalkidiki. The Conference was held at the Archaeological Museum of Polygyros on November 15, 2022 and aimed to provide primary and secondary school teachers with extensive information on the museology and museography of the Archaeological Museum, the exhibition units, the rich digital interactive applications and the educational programs and initiatives related to the thematic exhibitions of the Museum.

In addition, the participating teachers from Chalkidiki had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the museum, the exhibits and the interesting audiovisual applications and become familiar with the possibilities offered by educational technology in a museum environment!!
